Performance

The INOXPA TLS Close-Coupled Rotary Lobe Pump is a positive displacement pump designed to meet sanitary processing requirements where space, efficiency and reliability are critical. Its compact monoblock construction provides a reduced footprint while maintaining consistent and gentle product transfer.

The TLS pump is suitable for handling low to high viscosity fluids and is capable of pumping products containing fragile solids without damage. The tri lobe rotor design delivers smooth, low shear flow, making the pump well suited to sensitive food, dairy and cosmetic processes.

Maximum operating pressure is up to 10 bar, depending on pump size and configuration.

Specific Fluids

The TLS pump is suitable for handling products such as milk, cream, yoghurt, sauces, syrups, chocolate, cosmetic creams, lotions and gels.

Products containing soft or delicate solids, such as junket or similar inclusions, can be transferred without product damage.

Construction

The TLS pump is a close-coupled monoblock rotary lobe pump that can be adapted to gear motors with a B5 flange. The pump housing and cover are manufactured from investment cast stainless steel and fitted with tri lobe rotors with a sanitary attachment design.

Height adjustable stainless steel legs are supplied as standard, allowing hygienic installation and easy alignment.

All product wetted parts are manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel. Other stainless steel components are produced from AISI 304L. Internal surface finishes achieve Ra values of 0.8 microns or better to support hygienic operation.

Sealing and Hygiene

The TLS pump is supplied as standard with an external balanced single mechanical seal manufactured from carbon and silicon carbide with EPDM elastomers. Alternative seal materials and arrangements are available to suit specific process requirements.

The hygienic design supports clean in place routines when correctly specified and installed. The pump is also compatible with SIP procedures within the stated temperature limits.

Configuration Options

The TLS pump can be configured with a wide range of options, including alternative mechanical seal materials, lip seals, FPM gaskets, external bypass arrangements, bi lobe rotors and pump casings with drain ports.

Additional options include different connection standards such as DIN, Clamp and SMS, stainless steel shrouds, alternative drive types, trolleys and control panels.
